Undergraduate Program
Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering
(formerly Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering)

Admission Requirements
a. New Students
  • Must pass the Placement Examination required by the University
  • Must have obtained a grade not lower than 85% in Mathematics, Science and English subjects in High School
  • Must passed the interview administered in the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT)
b. Transferees
  • Must be a graduate of the STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Track in High School
  • Must obtain a GPA of 2.0 or better without failing grades in any subjects taken from previous school
  • Must pass the interview administered in the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT)
  • Must pass the Placement Examination required by the University.
c. Shiftees
  • Must be a graduate of the STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Track in High School
  • Must obtain a GPA of 2.0 or better and no grades lower than 2.5 in any physical sciences and math subjects taken from the previous program
Retention Policy
  • A student who failed in any Physical Science and Mathematics subjects during the first two years of stay in the university shall be disqualified to continue any engineering programs
  • Must maintain a GPA of 2.25 or better w/o failing grades in any subjects included in the licensure examination during the third to fourth year of the program

In the BS Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Program, the priority fields of specialization are based on the four major fields of specialization: Soil and Water Resources Engineering, Agricultural Processing, Agricultural Power and Machinery, and Agricultural Structures and Environmental Control.
