The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) and the College of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Natural Resources (CAFENR) headed by Engr. Renato B. Cubilla and Dr. Adolfo Manuel Jr., respectively, joined together for an outreach activity to the beneficiaries of Gawad Kalinga (GK) Foundation in Aguado, Trece Martires City on 19 December 2010.
Dr. David L. Cero, CEIT Research and Extension coordinator, spearheaded the collection of funds and preparation of gift items for this endeavor.
Faculty members from various departments and units of both colleges sang Christmas carols before they gave the gifts to each GK household. Engr. Leopoldo G. Talatala, GK-Cavite Director, thanked the delegates from the two colleges during their Christmas program. Children from the beneficiaries also gave thanks by actively performing their dancing skills.
