The Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering (DAFE) successfully conducted the qualifying examination for incoming third year engineering students on 26 April 2012 at DAFE Rooms 1, 2 and 3. Engr. Ervin F. Papa coordinated the exam together with Mr. Gerry M. Castillo, Ms. Sheryl D. Fenol and Engr. Liezl R. Montaron.
Out of 116 incoming third year engineering students, 27 were exempted to take the said exam. Bernadette A. Descartin topped this year’s batch with a grade point average (GPA) of 1.40. Other exempted students are the following: Konzeff Joy L. Ala (1.51); Juniel A. Cruz (1.52); Adriane B. Avila (1.55); Sherlyn P. Galit (1.60); Carl Andrew A. Laguardia (1.60); Carl Justin U. Medina (1.60); Cyril Dale L. Cero (1.63); Claudine L. Medina (1.64); Al Owen Roy A. Ferrera (1.66); Joren A. Pamplona (1.67); Melisa C. Constante (1.69); Julius Carl R. Gabalfin (1.69); Camilo B. Oquendo Jr. (1.69); Marielle R. Rupido(1.69); Rheena Jane S. Senido (1.70); Charmaine M. Angcao (1.71); Shirlene A. Marquez (1.71); Rodney Emmanuel V. Rodrin (1.71); Marny Alyanna M. As a result of this year’s qualifying examination, 20 students qualified for BS Agricultural Engineering (BSAE); 25 for BS Civil Engineering(BSCE); 11 for BS Computer Engineering (BSCpE); 20 for BS Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE); 20 for BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE); and 20 for BS Industrial Engineering (BSIE).
