The Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering (DAFE) of Cavite State University is among the pioneers in agricultural and biosystems engineering education in the Philippines. DAFE remains dedicated to advancing agricultural systems through quality instruction, research, and community service — shaping engineers who are innovative, sustainable, and service-oriented.
Since 1976, the Department of Agricultural Engineering, now the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering (DAFE) of Cavite State University, has been providing engineering solutions to agro-industrial challenges in the Philippines. The department continuously conducts relevant research and extension activities and promotes the development and transfer of appropriate agricultural and biosystems engineering technologies to strengthen the country’s agriculture industry.
