The Philippine Society of Agricultural Engineers – Pre-Professional Group Cavite State University Chapter (PSAE-PPG CvSU Chapter) participated in the 15th PSAE-PPG Annual Luzon Convention and 1st PSAE Bulacan Chapter Convention on 1 – 3 December 2011 at the Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC). The event with the theme “Agricultural Engineering RE-EDUCATION: The Key to a Stronger AE Profession” was participated by 30 BS Agricultural Engineering students. Hon. Proceso J. Alcala, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, graced the event as guest speaker. AE Challenge, CAD Challenge, Tractor Driving and Hitching, Tractor Parts Identification, and Mr. and Ms. PSAE highlighted the activities of the convention.
Furthermore, the chapter bagged the following awards: 3rd place, Tractor Parts Identification (Reynaldo Villanueva); 7th place, AE Quiz Bee (Loriel Yala and Kelvin Michael Crystal); 1st runner-up, Ms. PSAE-PPG and Ms. Congeniality (Alexandra Alexis Samson); 2nd runner-up, Mr. PSAE-PPG and Best in Casual Wear (Aljon Penus).
