In coordination with the College of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Natural Resources (CAFENR) and the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), the University held a testimonial luncheon for Agriculturist and Agricultural Engineer Licensure Exams passers on August 19, 2014 at the S.M. Rolle Hall, Cavite State University (CvSU). The event aimed to give due acknowledgment and recognition to the performance and achievements of the graduates for both flagship programs of the university. CvSU obtained a passing rate of 51.28% for the 2014 Agriculturist Licensure Exam and 75.00% for the AE Licensure Exam over a national passing percentage of 36.00 and 75.00, respectively.

The event was attended by the board exam passers together with their parents, Dr. Divinia C. Chavez (CvSU President), Dr. Luzviminda Rodrin (VPEBA), Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro (VPAA), and faculty members of both colleges. Inspirational messages were delivered by the Vice Presidents and the President herself, who even shared her struggles and personal story during her time of taking her licensure exam. As Dr. Chavez said, “The University is hoping that this may serve as an inspiration and challenge to the members of CvSU family and to fellow students to strive harder in achieving a higher and better quality of education and learning.” Furthermore, Engr. Jonathan Flores, AE Licensure Exam topnotcher and his father Mr. Joselito Flores, also shared their inspirational stories and thanksgiving.

The testimonial luncheon was highlighted by the distribution of plaques of recognition for the exam passers and cheques for the topnotchers. A buffet lunch followed after. Unfortunately, Mr. Paul Ryan Alcantara, Agriculturist Licensure Exam 6th placer was not able to attend the event.
