Last October 10 - 12, 2023, DAFE Faculty members, Engr. Rudy M. Hernandez Jr., Engr. Mariella Jezreel R. Oliver, and Engr. Maria Loriza M. Peliña attended the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT)'s IP Basics, Patent Search, and Patent Drafting Seminar-Workshop for CEIT Technologies.
The training-workshop, with the assistance of CvSU Innovations and Technology Support Office (ITSO), aimed to equip faculty members of the college with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect their intellectual properties as well as boost the research and innovation capacity of the college.

Also present were Engr. Gee Jay C. Bartolome, an alumnus of the department who served as a speaker/lecturer for said event, and Engr. Vincent V. Vergara, DAFE Faculty member and ITSO technical staff who provided technical assistance to participants.
