Cavite State University BS ABE students, Charlene Tanuyan, Cjhaye Ron Costa and Antessa Santillan of CvSU Team 1 won first runner-up in PAEStigan X: The State Colleges and Universities National PAES Quiz Contest at the University of the Philippines (UP) - Los Baños on February 23 - 24, 2024. They received a trophy, certificates and Php 30,000 cash prize.

Simultaneously, John Bryan Alcantara, Angelyn Carandang, and Glennard Arcena, second team of BSABE participants, placed eighth in the quiz contest.
BS ABE students from Visayas State University (VSU) and Mindoro State University (MinSU) emerged as the champion and second runner-up, respectively. They also won trophies, certificates and cash prizes amounting to Php 70,000 for the champion and Php 20,000 for the second runner-up.
Delegates were also involved in skills contests with Juan Carlos Ruiz for AutoCAD Challenge (13th); Paola Mae Agulan for QGIS Challenge (4th); Naisy Ann Regla for Engine and Machinery Parts Identification (4th); and Anthony Joshua Domingo alongside Hesed Feranil for Tractor Driving and Hitching (7th), totalling 11 CvSU representatives for the competition.
