BS ABE student's technology showcased in CvSU LIKHA Exhibit

Princess Mariel B. Medina, BS ABE student, showcased her technology entitled, Kalamay Mixer in the recent Lingap sa Inobasyon, Kaalaman, at Hiraya tungo sa Asensadong (LIKHA) Cavite State University (CvSU) Exhibit during the University's 118th Founding Anniversary on March 7 - 8, 2024.

Her technology, Kalamay Mixer addresses the issue of manual mixing in the production of Kalamay Buna, a century-old delicacy in the town of Indang, Cavite by mechanizing the mixing operation to reduce the workload and time in its production. The CEIT booth became a blockbuster for visitors and onlookers as Medina offered free samples of kalamay and provided a live demonstration of the kalamay-making process using her technology.

Also showcasing his technology in the exhibit with Medina was a BIT-ELEX student, Brix Jade David, whose technology, a prototype smart robot car with mechanical arm showed its capability of autonomous mobility and ability to manipulate small objects.

Assisting Medina throughout the exhibit were fourth-year BS ABE students, Kaye Andrei Tecson and Diana Densing.
