The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), headed by Engr. Renato B. Cubilla, celebrated its 25th founding anniversary on 22-23 September 2010 with the theme “CEIT @ 25: Sustaining Commitment towards Academic Excellence.”
Parade, fun games, academic and socio-cultural contests and an ecumenical thanksgiving were conducted on the first and second day, respectively. Student achievers and loyal faculty and staff were also given recognition by the college dean. He was accompanied by the University President, Dr. Divinia C. Chavez, and the Vice – President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lorna L. Penales, in awarding the certificates of recognition. Dr. Hernando D. Robles, Vice – President for Administrative Support and Services was also present during the recognition program.
CEIT students, faculty and staff showcased their talents in their respective variety shows on 23 September 2010. A short party for the students of the college followed the faculty and staff variety show. (GMCastillo)
